Welcome to Satya. These Terms govern your use of the Satya website, our apps, and our voice companion, Aatman (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be 18 or older. Your date of birth is used to confirm this. Accounts for people under 18 are refused, and nothing they typed is kept.
Satya offers reflection and self-discovery, drawn from your birth details and your own words, for personal growth. Aatman is an artificial intelligence, not a person. Aatman reflects patterns; it does not decide your future, and it is not a doctor, lawyer or financial adviser. It will not tell you when someone will die, fall ill or have an accident, will not comment on pregnancy outcomes, and will not pick numbers, bets or investments. Always consult a qualified professional for medical, psychological, legal or financial matters. You remain responsible for the decisions you make.
If you are in crisis or may be at risk of harming yourself or others, please stop and reach a person now: in the US call or text 988; in the UK call Samaritans on 116 123; in Australia call Lifeline on 13 11 14; in India call Tele-MANAS on 14416 or iCall on 9152987821; in the UAE call 800 4673; elsewhere see findahelpline.com. Aatman will show you these numbers if it hears that you need them.
Provide accurate information, including the birth details used for your reading, and keep your account secure. You may delete your account at any time from Me → Delete my account. Deletion removes your profile, conversations and memories from our live systems at once and from backups within 30 days; payment records we must keep for tax are kept for up to 7 years.
Prices are shown before you buy and charged in the currency displayed. Payments are processed by Stripe, or by UPI in India; we never see your full card number.
Do not use the Service to break the law, to harass anyone, to impersonate another person, to access accounts or systems that are not yours, to run automated access, to scrape or resell the Service, to generate content about identifiable third parties, to extract the underlying prompts, or to submit someone else's personal information without their consent. We may suspend accounts that do.
What you tell Aatman remains yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the Service: to generate your readings, to keep the memory that lets Aatman continue the relationship, and to keep the Service safe. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your conversations to train public AI models. Memory is never paid for: you can see, edit and delete what Aatman remembers at any time in Me → Memory, say "forget that" during a call, or switch memory off entirely. We also measure which advert brought you and whether it brought someone the Service actually helped — so we may tell our advertising partner that you completed a session, reached the end of your free minutes, opened a plan or came back. We never tell them what was said, what you asked about, how you felt, or anything from your birth details or your chart. In the EU, the UK and Switzerland this happens only if you accept the cookie banner; elsewhere you can turn it off at any time from "Privacy choices" in the app, and we stop immediately. See the Privacy Policy for the full list of what is shared.
We may add, change or withdraw features. If we make a material change to these Terms or to a price you are paying, we tell you in advance and you may cancel before it takes effect. We may suspend the Service for maintenance or where required by law.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
If you live in the United States, disputes are resolved by individual arbitration under the consumer rules of the American Arbitration Association; you may opt out by emailing info@satya.org within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, small-claims cases are excluded, and class actions are waived. If you live in the United Kingdom or the European Union, the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without taking away your right to bring proceedings in your home country. If you live in Australia, the courts of New South Wales; in the United Arab Emirates, the DIFC courts. Otherwise, including India, these Terms are governed by the laws of India and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
